Have you binge watched Marie Kondo’s show on Netflix yet? If your answer is yes, then you are probably going through your closet and basically getting rid of all of the clothes that do not spark joy, like the rest of America. After you have accumulated how many ever bags of unwanted threads, what do you do with them now? I mean, you could throw all of your unwanted clothes in a garbage bag and have it sit in your living room for 6 months before you throw it in your car and take it to Goodwill. No, that’s just me?
Here’s a better idea, bag up all of the clothes that you don’t want anymore and take them to your local H&M store. By the way, they don’t even have to be in wearable condition – they could even have holes in them. H&M stores will take them and give you a 15% discount coupon for a future purchase! This is a genius idea, because let’s say you got rid of a white shirt because it no longer fits. Again, is that just me? A white shirt is a great staple to have in your wardrobe, so you can replace it at a discount! The donations that they accept are hand picked and the clothes that are wearable are donated to thrift stores or vintage shops. The “holey” clothes are made into rags or insulation.
When you clean out your closet what do you do with your clothes? Do you give them to your sister, best friend or daughter? Perhaps you and your besties get together for a clothing swap. Let us know in the comments below!
